Jorja's 2nd Birthday

Jorja turned two on March 3rd and since Daddy was in North Carolina ("tarolina" as Jorja would call it) we waited to have her birthday party until he came back to Texas for Spring break. We had a Yo Gabba Gabba party and it was soooo much fun. It was just family and family friends since we were in the middle of moving. Don't be offended if you were not inivited. We had it at Mom and Dad's place and it will be a memory I will always remember, especially since we will probably not have another birthday in Texas with family and friends for a long time. Clay's 89 year old grandparents were even there to celebrate, which made it even more special. Jorja is such a special baby and I know my mom and dad are missing her so much! So please call my mom and talk to her she's feeling lonely without Jorja. After the party we spent a couple of days in Texas and then Clay headed to North Carolina in my car. He drove with BJones, which is Clay's best buddy and one of Jorja's favorite people. It took them two days to drive. So if your coming to visit me, fly!!! Road trips are fun but not with two year olds!!!! Jorja and I flew home in a private jet with Ruff. I bawled the whole way! Jorja was not phased but now she keeps asking "where my maw and big papi?" It breaks my heart every time. We are settled into our new home and it is starting to feel like home, now. Tonight my mom and I will Skype for the first time. I have done it before with a friend from Arizona. It will be sooooo good to see her face. Everyone here in Greenville is very nice and I have met many people. Jorja has even met some new friends too. Please continue to pray for my family as we all adjust to our new lives. WE miss ALL of our Lubbock peps!!!! Check out the video of Jorja blowing out candles. So cute! Aww and Baby Addie will be with us on May 24th!!! Scheduled c-section!!! Yessss!!! Love everybody!

Movers are here!!!

Jorja and I got back from NC Friday night and the movers were at our house bright and early Saturday morning. They are finishing now as I blog. My house is almost completely in boxes!!! Jorja is very confused. She keeps shutting her door in her room... I guess she just want some peace amoungst all this craziness!!! Our trip to NC was great. It's a small town but very cute. Our house is in a fairly new neighborhood....so hardly any trees in our yard:( We love our new house!!! Our neighbors are great too!!! Clay seems really happy up there, he's been up there for three weeks or so. We will officially be out of Lubbock on Thursday. I have been super emotional and weepy all week but I figure it's normal being pregnant and all. We want all our friends to come and visit us whenever they want!!! Everyone please stay in touch and continue to pray for my family. We will miss you all!!!

Great and Exciting News!!!!

It's official. The McGuire clan is moving to Greenville North Carolina. Clay took a job at East Carolina University. We are very excited about our new adventure. Actually I'm scared to death. I have never never lived away from my family. Those of you that know us, know that we are a very tight bunch. It's gonna be really hard. We are gonna need some prayers, for sure!!! Clay left today for awhile. I'll go up there in about two weeks to find a house and a doctor. Yes, I am having the baby in North Carolina!!! I'm nervous about that but I hear Greenville is a great medical community. The good thing is we are going up there with our former Texas Tech family. We will have friends making the move with us, so that will be very helpful. I am sad to leave Lubbock and Texas Tech, it definatly not on good terms!!! It will never never be the same!!!! We are ready to move on and be happy. God is soooo good!

I really am a bad blogger!!!

I have not posted anything in 6 months. I will catch you up on the last 6 months. There is a lot going on so this one might be long!!!

August- Football season began. We barely get to see Clay during this time, so it is hard. Dad and Jeff started a new season at Midland Lee and were so excited!!!

September- Football season is in full swing!!! Midway through the month we find out that I am pregnant!!! Yay!!! Midland Lee beat Midland High, so that was a big highlight for us!!!

October- More football season. Jorja was a Rhinestone Cowgirl for Halloween!!! Lot's of morning sickness!!! Mom and Dad officially moved into their home in Midland.

November- Had a great win against OU!!! Played at Cowboys stadium in Dallas. The stadium was amazing! Had fun with Heidi and J at the game!!! We got to go to Crane this year for Thanksgivng. It was nice to see the whole family. Found out we were having another sweet baby girl!!!

December- Got invited to the 2010 Alamo Bowl! Clay went on the road recruiting for 3 weeks! That really sucked! Got to spend Christmas with both families! Christmas was lots of fun with Jorja this year! She loved Santa! Alamo bowl was less than enjoyable considering our circumstances. Leach got fired. Found that out sitting at lunch with all the coaches wives, just popped on the big screen right in front of our faces!!! That very day my brother proposed to Leslie! So excited to have her in the family! She is precious! Love ya Les!

January- The whole family came to the bowl game to support us! It was a great game! We had front row seats. For the last week Clay has been on the road recruiting, not knowing whom our new head coach will be. So it's been a very stressful week and now we are starting into the second week of this!!!! We still don't know if we will be able to stay on staff. Currently Clay is in Orlando at the National College Coaching conference. He just meet with Tuberville and he told the staff that each one of them would meet with the offensive coordinator for an informal interview. If the OC is impressed then they would meet with Tubs one on one of Tuesday. Please pray for my husband. He needs lots of support and encouragment. On another note, Jorja is talking talking talking. She communicates so well! She counts to ten! She sits on the potty and pretends to "TETE" which I am very happy about! She knows all about Mama's baby in her belly. She calls her Addie and tries to feed her grapes through my belly button. Addie is healthy and I am beginning to feel her move around. I have another sonagram on Thursday which I will post pictures of. I am half-way through my pregnancy and feeling pretty good! It's been a really tough month for all of us but we are fighting through it and are trying to remember that God has blessed us with our health and a wonderful beautiful family.
