Sorry Folks!

It has been a long time since I have updated! I have honestly just been lazy! I look at all your blogs daily and have just been flat out lazy. I have been really busy being a mommy and playing with my daughter. We went swimming Monday and it was her very first time to be in a big swimming pool. She didn't much like it at first but warmed up to it quickly. We have been going for walks at night when it is cool. She loves to ride in her red Radio Flyer car! We have been going to the park and feeding the ducks and swinging on the swings at the playground. She also loves blue coconut snow cones from Bahama Bucks!!! I have been planting flowers in the back yard and let me tell you I have plenty of help from little miss, she thinks she is a gardener! Needless to say I have been keeping us busy! Clay just got in from being on the road for 3 weeks! It has been nice to have him home for a little bit, but as I am typing this he is gone to Key West!!!! No comment.
On another note. My life is about to be turned upside down. My parents are moving to Midland. I know after all these years as Monterey Plainsmen!!! I now will be rooting on the Midland Lee Rebels! My brother is already down there coaching it up and Mom and Dad are currently putting their home up for sale. Anyone looking for a home in Lubbock? I am really sad about this because my Mom is my best friend! She helps me with Jorja so much! I am so blessed to have her so close. This move will be really hard for me. But I am very happy for my Dad and excited. My Mom and Dad see Jorja and I every single day and it is wonderful, especially with Clay being gone so much! I will truly have some adjusting to do with all my time, so friends here in Lubbock I will be reaching out like never before. Please pray for me and my family because this will be hard for us all. We have never been apart, ever.
Here are some pics of Jorja eating corn! She loves corn, especially on the cobb!

  2. I am so glad things are good. I had no idea your parents were going to Midland. I knew Jeff was already down there, but wasn't sure what your parents were going to do. I understand it being hard...moving 12 hours from home was very tough, thankfully I have Emily & Kyle close so I can get my family fill when I need it. I still cry everytime I leave to come back to Missouri. Trust me when I say God will never put you in a situation you can't handle. (It's taken me a long time to realize this.) I'll be visiting when I can I promise. I am so excited to be back closer to everyone and will only be 2 hours from you!! Call me if you need anything, I'm always willing to talk or do what I can! Miss you & love you!
